Efter Ove Sernhedes föreläsning om segregationen i göteborg tänker jag att temat segregation är viktigt att lyfta. Dessutom stärktes min längtan att få jobba på skola i utsatta områden ytterligare. Jag har nu lånat boken och ska läsa mer för att kanske få tankar till projektet.
Jag har två perspektiv att utgå ifrån: Det stora perspektivet där människor i vårt samhälle inte känner sig accepterade och har hamnat i ett utanförskap. Det är viktiga grejor. Också har jag det lilla perspektivet där jag ska omvandla min icke-plats. Och jag undrar hur jag ska kunna göra något meningsfullt av denna plats.
Min icke-plats ligger i Kålltorp. Kålltorp är förmådligen det svennetätaste området jag bott i i denna stad, förutom kanske Kungsladugård då. Här finns hundar och svenskar. Just nu cirklar mina tankar kring om man skulle kunna blanda lite mer. Kan min icke-plats bli något som uppmärksammar denna problematik? Jag vet inte. Men kanske.
I närheten av min plats finns gamla Härlanda fängelse som numer innebos av bibliotek, öppen förskola, café och kulturhuset Kåken mm. Kanske kan jag koppla min plats till vad som händer där?
